DESCRIPTION:
Primary goal was to design a font, but for now, the result is a sign system.
Motivation has derived from three sources. One was the subject of restraining
access to information, such as passwords and security levels. Other entirety
that motivates me are safety sign systems, in accordance with my usual designer
research interests - mass systems for open spaces - in example, IALA and
IMO signalling and orientation signs on sea. In the end, to advance the
idea, I used third source - monitoring. Issues that are also appetizing
are pictogram systems and geographical and nautical chart signs, as well
as topographic signs. Inside my own sign system there are satellite monitoring
and air surveillance signs, in form of doubled rounded element that is drawn
into the sign structure, comprised with symbols that suggest direction note
or movement curve as linear entry, arrows, dots, array of lines, warning
signs. |
