Wanting to promote their ‘Ikono’ premium paper range, Zanders commissioned RS, along with several other international design practices, to create a special ‘one off’ artwork/poster.

This design would then be printed onto their Ikono paper stock and distributed as an insert through the international design press.

The only prerequisite that Zanders gave us was that our design should be a response to the word ‘icon’.
Our artwork took it’s inspiration from the many redundant computer parts that we have accumulated over the last two decades.

Through our artwork we wanted to give these artifacts a new lease of life, and create from them are or own highly abstracted icons.
