4 approached us to create some typographical animations
of slogans which were used on a series of promo ad's
for NipTuck, a cosmetic surgery drama broadcast on Channel
4 in late 2004.
The
animations had to fit perfectly with certain sections
of the edit, some of which were less than 3 seconds,
the challenge was to make the type appear on screen
long enough for the viewer to read, but at the same
time retain the beauty of the animation.
The
promo ad's were broadcast at the end of ad breaks during
the three weeks before the broadcast of the show.
