London, UK 2005

Homechoice provides on-demand movies and digital TV to your television, along with high speed broadband to your PC - all through a set top box fed via your BT phone line. In addition to the channels Homechoice provides you can add Sky Movies and Sky Sports into your package, making Homechoice a major player in the digital TV market.

Video Networks, the company behind Homechoice, brought in a wide range of companies specializing in different areas to completely re-brand and effectively re-launch their product, this coinciding with the expantion of a London service, to providing Homechoice in other cities around the UK.

Two of the companies that were brought in were Mother London for the advertising (you can view the adverts from the links to the right), and Research Studios for the branding.

A structured logo was created but incorporates a fluid colour story, there is one core brand colour, then 9 additional colours, all of these colours can be used and interchanged throughout all their branding applications. This Fluid attitude to the branding and graphic style follows through to all applications, we have produced a comprehensive Brand C.I. guidelines and we will police the framework, but they are relatively free to interpret the graphic style as they like, thus creating a rich and diverse graphic language.

Homechoice TV Adverts:

Mother London were brought in by Video Networks to create the TV advertising for Homechoice. The concept behind the advertising is that in seemingly "thrilling" situations our main character would rather be at home – enjoying Homechoice.
