British book publishers, Black Dog Publishing approached RS to art direct a book celebrating 100 Years of Magazine Covers written by Steve Taylor, who worked with Neville on both The Face and Arena magazines.

Using a vivid colour palette, strong chapter breaks and breakout pages - we were able to bring a decade of amazing magazine covers together in one book - retaining an emphasis on the covers where needed without being to repetitive. With a strong history in magazine design RS applied magazine like elements to the book making it a book to read as much as a book of visual inspiration.

Applying a spot UV gloss to the cover, round back binding and printed ends papers RS have added a 'one to keep' value to a book intended to be a reference for the past 100 years in cover design.
