Research Studios has created a family of graphic compositions for bite, the Barbican’s internationally renowned performance series for dance, theatre and music. The images had to reflect key themes such as the abstract, light and dark, movement, energy and elements coming together.

The family of compositions photographically play with lighting gels, a unifying and common element to all types of performance in the series, to create vibrant, abstract and evocative forms.
